You're going to be seeing a lot of cards using the new Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper.  One design from this DSP pack, the little triangles, was very popular at Leadership, and I saw many swap cards at Stampin' Up! conference in Houston using the DSP from the Kaleidoscope paper pack.

The  3 cards, I'm showing you today all the use of Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper.  Inspiration came from cards I saw at Leadership.  I love to take a good design and change it up with more of my style.  That's what I did with these designs.  The cards also use several new stamps from the new Occasions Catalog that went live earlier this month, including, Pomp & Circumstance (134165-w, 134168, c),  Perfect Pennants, (133227-w; 133230-c), and Starburst Sayings (133182-w; 133185-c)

The Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper (132995) includes 12 different paper designs including 4 different polka dots designs --perfect for Spring and Easter projects-- and two Black and White designs (stripes and chevrons), yet the majority of cards using this paper used the one DSP paper I'm showing on these cards!  One of the home-office presenters showed us examples of geometrics being used all over in clothing, home furnishings, and all manner of accessories this year--and Stampin' Up! is right in step with the new Triangle punch (133375) that can be purchased alone or as part of a bundle that includes the Geometrical stamp set.  Purchased together, the Geometrical bundle saves 15% over the two items purchased alone.  We received Geometrical as one of our Leadership sets this year, another great reason to attend Stampin' Up! events!

Also new in the Occasions Catalog are the new Basic metal Buttons (133319).  We've had larger metal buttons in the past, but these come in  smaller sizes than past metal buttons, and I also found that they layer together, giving more dimension and interest to your cards.

Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals - 21-Jan - 2014

Next week is the start of Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration!

Get ready for one of the most exciting times of the year for Stampers and scrapbookers.  Sale-A-Bration!   Why? Most of you already know the drill.  If you're a newbie to stamping, Sale-A-Bration works like this.  For every $50 you spend (excluding shipping and tax), you receive a pick of a free gift from the Sale-A-Bration flyer.  This year the picks include stamps, designer papers, a new banner punch that coordinates with a new Banner stamp set (that we've already heard will carry over into the new yearly catalog in June), Treat Kits, Textured embossing folder, Accessory Kits and Digital Downloads.  The variety is great.  The products are exclusive -- the only way you can get them is with each of your $50 purchases from the main catalog or the Occasions catalog.  If you've been saving your Christmas money for this sale, you've only a few more days to wait.

When Sale-A Bration starts I'll share some great product bundles for $50 that will earn you a free gift.  Until next week, take another look at the center card in the three cards above.  See the cute mini tags?  That's a sneak peek at one of my favorites from the Sale-A Bration free product selections.  Its a small banner punch with a matching stamp set called Banner Blast. Add it to your Sale-A-Bration wish list today.
