Hey, Chick! stamp set form Stampin' Up!
Here's another Hey, Chick card. This set makes it a snap to pull together quick, fun cards for almost every reason. The hens are so stinking cute! Especially the one with the mop top. And I love the egg with feet. Who thinks these up?
I stamped the Crumb Cake layer with Soft Suede and used Soft Suede to stamp the chicken and the egg on Very Vanilla. I went over the chicken and then added a shadow to the egg with a water color pencil and used the Real Red water color pencil on the hen's crown and lightly on her chest.
All three of the hens and the egg used to stamp the Crumb Cake layer are part of this same stamp set. I layered the Crumb Cake onto Soft Suede, and use 5/8" Burlap Ribbon for hanging the tag with the egg. I used Linen thread to draw the Burlap Ribbon together to add the tag. This is one of the stamp sets you can only get as a free selection with a $50 order.
