Stampin' Up! Inside the Lines
I had so much fun watercoloring the free Sale-a-Bration selection, Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper. I was going to use watercolor pencils, which I've used previously when using this paper, but I was in a hurry and decided to use Aqua Painters and ink pads instead.
I'm really pleased with the results of the watercoloring, even though it's not perfect. Even rushing to finish this card, which I sent to my mom, I love the way the colors "pop". I'm so sad that this paper will only be available as a free Sale-A-Bration selection until the end of this month. If you like this paper, pick it up with your next $50 order.
I paired the water color image with Tangerine Tango and Pool Party. I ran the Pool Party through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Window Shopping set from the Occasions Catalog. The ribbon? Uhmmmm, we'll I really wanted a matching ribbon so I used this retired stitched Tangerine Tango ribbon. It must have been popular because there is none on the Clearance Rack.
This is a second version of the card with a different sentiment. This sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases set. You really can't go wrong with this beautiful Design Paper. Its relaxing to color, and when finished, it looks great!
