More Swaps from OnStage
I'm still recovering from Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Salt Lake City. I've been looking through all of my swaps trying to decide which to share with you for inspiration as you work on your cards for Christmas and every-day card giving. I received so many well-designed cards its been hard to choose which to highlight. It left me appreciating my fellow demonstrators all the more! These were not just card fronts or even cards with a couple of layers. These Demonstrators spent a lot of time creating multi-layer cards full of die cuts, and embellishments -- the kind of cards you're proud to show and proud to give to people you care about.
Here are today's cards. Take a look at the closeups below.
This first card is from a swap I did on the ballroom floor before the start of the first morning session. Unfortunately it didn't include the name of the demonstrator who created it.
Hearts Come Home and coordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelit Dies
This beautiful step card uses Hearts Come Home and the coordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelit Dies. The church and homes are lined with Gold Foil Sheets making it look like all buildings are have lights on. I'm posted a couple of cards with this set, but I now I want to play with it even more!
Card created by Jessica Hill
The Designer Paper on the card above is from the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper on a Old Olive layers and a Basic Black Base Card. The large sentiment focal point is from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set. The leaves were punched from Gold Foil, Old Olive and Basic Black using the Leaf Punch This card was created by Jessica Hill from www.twinsandtwine.com .
Card Created by Claudia Bradley
The card above uses a Cherry Cobbler Base card, a Basic Black layer and then a Black and White layer from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper pack. There is a Gold Foil and Cherry Cobbler snowflake with a Black Rhinestone Jewel center in the upper left side of the card, and behind the sentiment is a Gold Foil Snowflake. The sentiment is from the Snowflake Sentiments set, and it is stamped in Cherry Cobbler. This card was created by Claudia Bradley and can be found on Facebook as Claudia's Creative Crafts.
In addition to the swapping, recognition, classes and general sessions during Stampin' Up! OnStage, we received a lot of swag. The photo below shows the OnStage gift bag and fillings. We received a Stampin' Up! mug unlike any mug I've seen, badges with ribbon showing milestones we've reached. I received recognition for recruiting and for leadership, for members of my down line who promoted to the next level (love you ladies!). I also received 3 new stamps sets from the upcoming catalogs coming out in January. Although we received the January catalogs I can't show you the new catalogs yet until the embargo is lifted. I'll put together samples as well as showing you some of the samples we made from new stamp and die sets as soon as its allowed.
