Amazing You Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek
Today's project is a sneak peek at one of the free stamp sets you can earn during Sale-A-Bration, which begins January 3. This set is called Amazing You, and you can also earn the coordinating dies that work alone or with this set. The coordinating dies are called Celebrate You thinlit dies. This year, Stampin' Up! is offering two levels of free gifts. Most of the Sale-A- Bration free gifts can be earned with a $50 purchased. However, this year, for the first time, there is a second level of free gifts that can be earned with a $100 purchase.
The basecard for this card is Calypso Coral, then a layer of Whisper White, then one of the patterns from Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.
A Delicate White Doily is placed under the sentiment block. The word "celebrate" is from the Amazing You stamp set. The die cut word is from the Celebrate You die set.
The flower image and foliage is a single stamp. However, I knew I wanted to stamp the foliage in a different color than the flower, so I used a scissors for cutting rubber and carefully cut the flower and foliage into two separate images. I made a number of these cards and found that the two separate pieces were much easier to work with than the single image. I stamped the foliage in Lemon Lime twist and stamped the flower in Black Memento ink colored with Calypso Coral Blends
I added a silver Faceted Gem in the center of the flower.
