Heartfelt Blooms Sale-A-Bration Set
I'm using the Sale-A-Bration Heartfelt Blooms stamp set today as the image for an Easter card. However, it could just as easily be used as a Birthday card, Thank you card or Sympathy card. This is such a versatile stamp set. Its a shame that you only have today and tomorrow remaining to order this beautiful, unique set. I believe this will become a collector's item as this is the first set Stampin' Up! has produced with this technique and they've patented the process. I'm expecting we will see more sets in the new June annual catalog using this technique, but this first set will remain special because it was the first.
I used a basecard of Sweet Sugarplum, then a layer of Whisper White. The Whisper White layer was dry embossed with the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The image layer is Whisper White bordered by Sweet Sugarplum. And there is a Sweet Sugarplum band under the image layer. .
The sentiment is from the You're Inspiring set from the Occasions Catalog. It is die cut using one of the dies from the Petals and More Thinlit Dies.
I accented the ends of the sentiment panel by adding Glitter Enamel Dots in a shade of Berry Burst that closely matched the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and ink.
If you haven't ordered this set, it is a free Sale-A-Bration selection with a $50 order. But hurry. Your order must be received by March 31 to earn this free selection. You'll love how easy it is to make beautiful cards with this set.
You should also consider re-ordering Sweet Sugarplum stamp pad, reinker, and cardstock if your supply is low. Sweet Sugarplum is one of the colors scheduled to retire this year in June, when the new catalog arrives. In about 10 days Stampin' Up! will announce the retired list. Often, retiring colors sell out -- sometimes within minutes -- of the retiring list announcement.
