Petal Garden Suite
This time of the year, as the new Stampin' Up! catalog is on the horizon, I start to feel bad about the stamps or papers I purchased that I haven't had time to play with. I'm sure that never happens to you.
So today I'm playing with the Petal Garden Designer Series Papers. It is a set of papers, with yummy brights that coordinate with Calypso Coral, Old Olive Rich Razzleberry and other prints in the set that coordinate with Sweet Sugarplum and Pool Party. It is such a feast for the eyes. I picked two different prints and pair them with Old Olive and Fresh Fig.
Today's card uses a Thick Whisper White basecard, then a layer Petal Gardens, then a layer of Pear Pizzazz, and then another print from Petal Gardens.
Then, dies cuts from Petal & More Thinlit dies was used for the element at the bottom and to cut the sentiment. The bottom element is cut from Fresh Fit. A Fresh Fig strip creates a thin border around the Whisper White sentiment, as well.
The sentiment is from the You're Inspiring set, which was still sitting on my work surface from yesterday's card. I used The Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends to color some small Metallic Enamel Shapes for each end of the sentiment. The ribbon is 1/8" Sheer Calypso Coral Ribbon. These are beautiful prints and I'm looking forward to making more cards with this set of Designer Series Papers.
The Petal Garden Suite includes a coordinating embossing folders, the Graceful Garden stamp set, sheer ribbons and also coordinates with the Petal Garden Memories and More Card Pack.
