Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek
I chuckled as I started writing today's post. I wonder if I'll win an award for using the most new products from the upcoming Holiday catalog on a single card. I sure had fun playing with some of my new pre-order items, and you'll get a Holiday Catalog sneak peek at several new fun products available to order beginning September 5. My customers who have orders in the past 6 months will receive a copy of the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog in the mail sometime in late August. If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to receive a Holiday catalog, please contact me.
I was so excited to play with both the Beautiful Baubles Bundle and the Tags & Tidings Bundle and I found a way to use both on today's Holiday Sneak Peek. The ribbon is a new, beautiful, reversible 5/8" ribbon with Merry Merlot on one side and Copper on the other side. I'm also using the new Holiday Catalog Swirls & Curls Textured Impression Embossing Folder behind the ornament, and one of my favorite embossing folders from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog, the Tutted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Directions for today's card:
- Merry Merlot basecard
- Next layer is Smoky Slate dry embossed with the Tufted Textures Impressions folder.
- Then the image layer is Whisper White dry embossed with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Its framed with an oval of Merry Merlot die cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits.
- The ornaments from the Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies created the detailed ornament, which is backed with a small piece of Silver Foil Sheet fussy cut using the outside outline of the same die used to cut the ornament.

- The reversable Merry Merlot/Copper ribbon is tied in a bow and attached with mini glue dots.
- The small sentiment tag is stamped in Merry Merlot, and then die cut using the Christmas Tags Thinlits Die from the Tags & Tidings Bundle.
- The tag is popped up on mini Dimensionals. The top of the tag includes three Clear Rhinestones.
You can save 10% by purchasing both the Beautiful Baubles Bundle and the Tags & Tidings Bundle over purchasing the stamp sets and coordinating dies separately. You'll want to add theses Stampin' Up! bundles and new Holiday products to your wish list today!
I have to show you the unique way Stampin' Up! up designed the Tags & Tidings Stamp set and die. ALL of the Tags are include on one stamp and ALL of the tags can be die cut with the coordinating die and your Big Shot at the same time! Is that cool? What a time saver! Sixteen tags with one run through the Big Shot! Loooove it!
One stamp and one die creates 16 different tags -- Tags & Tidings Bundle
One tip to ensure your stamp and die match up: When mounting your photopolymer stamp on your clear block, set you stamp on a flat surface and place your clear block over the back of the stamp. This will ensure your stamp does not stretch while mounting and your die will line up with all your stamped images. Think about how much fun you'll have making a package of these cute tags as a gift for your Thanksgiving hostess so she'll have them to use on her Christmas packages.
Recipe:
Stamp: Beautiful Baubles Bundle, Tags & Tidings Bundle
Ink: Merry Merlot
Paper: Merry Merlot, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Silver Foil Sheets
Accessories: Christmas Tags Thinlits Die, Detailed Baubles Thinlits Dies, Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8" Reversible Ribbon, Layering Ovals Framelits, Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Big Shot Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Stampin' Trimmer, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals
