Stampin' Up! More Tea Together
Here's a fun card using the Stampin' Up! Tea Together stamp set and coordinating dies. The dies are a free Level 2 selection in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with a $100 purchase until March 31. I'm so happy that this set of Dies will carry over after Sale-A-Bration ends. It's been rather gray in Houston the past couple of days, so I needed something that warmed my eyes rather than the spring colors I've been working with from the Occasions catalog. I picked out this rich, flowered paper from the Share What You Love paper pack from the annual catalog, and paired it with some Rich Razzelberry that seems to compliment the tea theme for this card. If you haven't already done so, download and look through the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to see all of the lovely, new sets and new products available.
Then I die cut the tea pot, the rose shape, and the stitched circle out of Very Vanilla, using the Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-A_Bration Brochure and the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
I mounted all three images from the Tea Together stamp set onto a single Stamparatus plate. I used the sheet I had cut the images from as a template, and inserted the blank die cuts into each opening. I inked the three stamps with Rich Razzleberry and stamped all three die cuts at the same time. Since I was stamping these die cuts for several cards, I was able to simple add the blank die cuts for each card into my template and quickly stamp the three images again and again. The Stamparatus is such a time saver.
I mounted the tea pots onto dimensionals and added them to the card front. I used Light Rich Razzelberry Blends and Light Old Olive Blends Markers to color the roses. I added dimensionals to the rose die cuts and added them on top of the tea pots.
The sentiment is also from the Tea Together set. It is die cut using one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits circle dies. The ribbon is 1/4" Rich Razzelberry Ribbon from the annual catalog. The sentiment is mounted on Dimensionals before adding it on top of the velvet ribbon.
The Tea Together stamp set is from the Occasions Catalog, pp 49. Here's what to purchase to get the Tea Time Framelit Dies (149697) set free:
