Stampin' Up! Wonderful Romance Stamp set
I'm so happy when I stamp with the beautiful stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog. Sunning cards seem to just come together with the product suites Stampin' Up! has created for us this Spring. Today I'm using the Wonderful Romance Stamp set again, paired with the Lace Embossing Folder. Of course, the alcohol-based Blends Markers add the wonderful highlights to these beautiful images. If you haven't already done so, download and look through the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to see all of the lovely, new sets and new products available.
The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White. Then another layer of Whisper White. Then a third layer of Whisper White is dry embossed with the Lace Embossing folder.
Then I stamped the Wonderful Romance flower image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White and die cut it with the Wonderful Floral Framelit dies. I colored the images with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Calypso Coral Blends Markers. I mounted the die cut image onto a Stitched Oval die cut from Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
The sentiment is also from the Wonderful Romance stamp set. Before I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I used an aqua painter to brush on a big of Grapefruit Grove background to give the sentiment layer some interest. I then stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I added a small bow and ribbon using the 1/8" Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain ribbon. sentiment.
