Stampin' Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set

I've been working on swaps using the Sailing Home stamp sets from the upcoming Stampin' Up! catalog. I loved working with this set during On Stage, and it was high on my demonstrator pre-order list when I ordered. This stamp set can be purchased alone, or as a bundle with the Smooth Sailing Dies as the Sailing Home Bundle. It is also part of the Come Sail Away Product Suite with coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, High Seas 3-D Embossing Folder, Come Sail Away Memories & More Cards, Baker's Twine, and trinkets.

This card uses many of the items in the Come Sail Away Suite. Items in this suite coordinates with Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, and whisper White.

The basecard for this card is Night of Navy. Then a layer of Sahara Sand dry embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. This layer is sponged with Crumb Cake ink. Then a layer of Crumb Cake, which is a mat for the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper. The image layer is Sahara Sand matted with a layer of Night of Navy. These two layers are die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

The old fashioned nautical navigation instrument on the right is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on a Crumb Cake circle. The needle is actually 3D and there is a die stamp and die included in this bundle that creates this cute i3D item. Its attached with a Metallic Brad that's been colored with a Dark Soft Suede Blends alcohol-based Marker. It moves! You're recipient receiving this card won't be able to resist playing with it. I stamped the sailboat image and one of the sentiments from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy ink. I add a small tab of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon on the left side of the image, giving the card a more masculine flair. The burlap ribbon and the Metallic Brads are carry-overs from the current catalog.

Ordering from the new catalog begins on June 4. Be sure to pick up any items on your Wish List retiring when the current catalogs -- both the annual catalog and the Occasions catalog -- expires on Jun 3.

Price Changes in the new catalog

As we draw to the close of the Stampin' Up! catalog year, I wanted to alert you, one last time, to price changes coming June 4 when the new catalog goes live. There's still time for you to place an order at current prices. If you're a customer of mine, you've likely received your new catalog and seen these new prices. I've stocked up on several items I know I'll be using at prices in the current catalog. If you need to place an order for your every-day supplies like cardstock--especially Whisper White--, embossing powder, stampin' mist, or other essentials that are increasing soon, you can place your order here. Again, new prices will go into effect on the items listed in the document below, on June 4.

Final Card Class of the Catalog Year - May 26, 2019
