Stampin' Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set, Yet Again

Today's card is again uses the Stampin' Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set and coordinating Medium Daisy Punch, and the full size Daisy Punch.  Have you noticed that this year's catalog has several stamp sets that extend the usefulness of stamp sets.  For instance, the Sailing Home set and the High Tide  sets can be used together to create beautiful cards or samplers.  The new Daisy Lane stamp set and the Daisy Delight set plus the two coordinating punches work the same way.  You'll have so many more possibilities when you use the two punches and stamp sets to create your Daisy cards and projects.

I was working on two different Daisy cards today.  I'm only going to show you one, because I used the base card and Designer Paper from one and the Daisies I stamp for the other card on this card!  Some days are just like that.  You start with an idea -- or a couple -- and they just didn't work out the way you had planned them in your mind.  I ended up liking my final idea better.  Hope you do too!.

This card uses a basecard of Soft Sea Foam.  Then a layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Then a layer of one of the prints from the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper.

The large and medium Daisy's are stamped in Terracotta Tile ink on Whisper White cardstock, and punched out with the Daisy Punch and the new Medium Daisy Punch  To make them look full, I stamp two of each and layer the together, then I used a bone folder to curl the edges of the Daisies downward.  They are mounted on Dimensionals.

I stamped and fussy cut the stem and the leafy leaf in Mossy Meadow on Whisper White card stock. The sentiment, also from the Daisy Lane set, is stamped directly on the Designer Series Paper in Mossy Meadow ink.  To get the most out of the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, I recommend also getting both the Daisy Punch and the Daisy Lane Bundle which includes the Daisy Lane stamp set and the Medium Daisy Punch.  You'll Love What You Make with this set.

Join us for the Birds & Blooms Card Class - June 23, 2019

If you've wanted to learn to create handmade cards that are a cut above, join us for our next class.  While we are using several new sets in this class, were making two cards with the new Daisy Lane stamp set.  I'm so excited.  Stampin' Up! has made an important change in this year's catalog.  There are more stamps than ever that work across multiple sets.  I'm so excited.  Daisy Lane uses one of our favorite punches--the Daisy Punch-- and a new, medium-size Daisy Punch, introduced in early June with the launch of the new, annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  This punch is part of the Daisy Lane bundle.  And this new Daisy Lane stamp set and Medium Daisy punch coordinates with our existing Daisy Delight stamp set.  I just love it when I can coordinate across two stamp sets and two punches.  It gives me so many options!

This fun class using all-new sets from the new catalog.  Plus, we'll play with new Designer Series Papers, Background Stamps, punches, and new dies to show off many of the new suites from the catalog.

Show loved ones how much you care by sending these thoughtful, beautiful handmade cards to celebrate special birthdays, let someone know your thinking of them, a thank you, or sending them a beautiful Spring greetings.  You'll love what you make, and you can customize your cards with alternate sentiments.

Join us June 23, 2019 and make these
6 cards in our Birds & Blooms Class.

How to get the most out of your new 3D Embossing Folders

As you know, stamping up changed the vendor we've been using for dies and embossing folders.  As you order products from the new catalog, you'll also want to understand how to use the new dies in your die cutting machine.  You'll notice that the new 3D embossing folders from the new vendor are not as thick as our old Dynamic Embossing folders.  Stampin' Up! has introduced a new die and embossing plate to help you get the best impressions from your new 3D embossing folder.  Its is item number 149658 and is priced at US$10.00

For best results, use the 3D embossing Folder Plate with all your
Stampin' Up! 3D Embossing folder.  It will help make your 3D designs pop.

Watch this video to learn what to look for in our new style dies and also, find out how to use the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate to get the most out of your 3D Embossing folders from Stampin' Up!.   If the video doesn't show up in your email client, you can view the video here.

You'll love that our new dies are thinner, and stronger than our former dies.  They do line up a little different and my brain had to re calibrate that the cutting edges were placed differently before I started getting my die-cuts right. Now I'm really happy with our new dies.

Our new 3D embossing folders can be used with shims, but the new plate above makes it so much easier to get 3D images that pop.  The 3D Embossing folder plate replaces the single cutting plate in your embossing sandwich for your die cutting machine.
