Stampin' Up! Power Of Hope
Today's card of a lantern using the Power of Hope Bundle is cased from another demonstrator, Gail Ellis. Having so many talented demonstrator friends worldwide is wonderful when you're stumped for ideas for using a new stamp set. The basecard for today's card is thick Whisper White. Then a layer of Basic Black cardstock. Then a layer of Real Red. Then a layer of Basic Black dry embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder, part of the Power of Hope Bundle.
For the image layer I stamped one of the main images from the Power Of Hope Stamp Set and then added accents of leaves from the the Free As A Bird Stamp Set. I lightly colored the leaves with Light Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers. I colored the roof with Light Real Red Blends Marker. Once the images were stamped and colored, I used the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder to give it the illusion of a lantern. I added strips of Real Red to the top and bottom and added a piece Whisper White Baker's Twine to the top of the lantern.
The sentiment is also from the Power Of Hope Stamp Set. It is stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Whisper White die cut cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the January-June 2020 Mini catalog.
Recipe
The basecard for today's card is thick Whisper White. Then a layer of Basic Black cardstock. Then a layer of Real Red. Then a layer of Basic Black dry embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder, part of the Power of Hope Bundle.

We'll create these 6 cards, using several Sale-A-Bration selections and Coordinating Products. We'll decorate our cards and matching envelopes in class and then you can use these projects as samples or templates to make more projects on your own. These are great handmade projects you'll be proud to use with family or friends.
New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.
