Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden Suite
Want an early start on products from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual catalog? The Ornate Garden Suite is an early release suite that you can order from the new catalog today. Why wait. Start having fun with new catalog products now. Today I used both of the stamp sets from this suite -- Ornate Style Stamp Set and Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. I wanted to use some of the beautiful Grapefruit Grove cardstock, which is retiring June 2, and I wanted a version using Seaside Spray, which is an In Color that will remain current until the end of next year's annual catalog. I love that different colors all look great with this suite. First, the Seaside Spray version.
The basecard for today's card is Seaside Spray. Then there's a Whisper white cardstock layer. The next layer is Seaside Spray dry embossed with Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I die cut a Whisper White layer usig Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
The image from the Ornate Style Stamp Set is stamped in Versamark, covered with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and set using my Heat Tool. Then it is fussy cut leaving a small border around the image and popped up on Dimensionals before adding it to the card front.
The sentiments is stamped in Seaside Spray ink and die cut using one of the dies from the Ornate Layers Dies. The sentiment is popped up on Dimensionals on the edges only. A 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots (now on sale), is added to the corner of the image layer.
Recipe

I created the same card in Grapefruit Grove cardstock and Ink as well as a way to use up as much Grapefruit Grove Cardstock before it retires. Its one of my favorite colors and I will miss it greatly. This is such a fun, simple card that goes together quickly when you need a special message for someone you love. You See how easy it is to create this card in your favorite cardstock and ink colors.
