Today was the first day I had the opportunity to play with the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set and the new Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick Dies. Stampin' Up! demonstrators were able to preorder these new bundles January 5, but shortly after my sets arrived, we left on vacation and I decided to take a short break from stamping and didn't bring any supplies...not even a Paper Pumpkin kit! Boy, am I glad to be back home with access to my craft room! I had such a fun time playing with these new sets today, and now I can't wait to create even more cards with these new stamp sets and supplies. I paired these sets with Crumb Cake and Real Red cardstock and one of the Neutrals 6 X 6" Designer Sees Papers, plus Real Red 3/8" Sheer Ribbon that carried over from the August-December Mini Catalog, and its still orderable. Take a look at the information below to learn more about the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle and the Hey Chick Bundle that will be available for customers to order beginning 2 February 2021.
The image layer is Basic White matted in Real Red. The images from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set were Stamped in Crumb Cake ink. Then they were lightly colored using the Early Espresso pencil from the Watercolor Pencils Set. Additional colors were added using Real Red Stampin' Blends and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends. I used one of the dies from the Hey Chick set to create the hen house, and used the Early Espresso watercolor pencil to highlight some of the raised areas from the die cut. I used one of the Hey Birthday Chick Dies to Die cut the large hen, and popped the image up on Dimensionals.
The sentiment for this card is also from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set. It is stamped in Crumb Cake Ink.
Above, you can also see the inside of the card. I used additional images from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set and stamped them in Crumb Cake ink and the Real Red and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends.
There are two different Chick bundles that customers can begin ordering 2 February, and Demonstrators can pre-order now. I think Stampin' Up! did a great job of taking a former favorite and added an assortment of fun dies and sentiments that will make these two bundles a must-have.
