Tulips and daffodils jostle to the front of the stage in March, April and May.  I love these early perennials, and Stampin' Up! Flowering Tulips Stamp Set is a charming set you'll find useful for many Spring Celebrations.  The card I created for my post today uses the Flowering Tulip Bundle -- Stamp Set with coordinating Dies--along with some of the free 6" X 6" Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper I earned during Sale-A-Bration that I wanted to use.  The bundle is part of an entire Suite, called the Flowering Fields Suite, that you'll love working with to create Spring cards and projects.    I created this simple card and added a white Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  

To create today's card, I used a base card of Petal Pink Cardstock.  Then I added a layer of Basic White.  Then a layer of one of the prints from the Sunshine and rainbows 6" X 6" Designer Papers that I earned during Sale-A-Bration, but is no longer available now that Sale-A-Bration has ended.  However, you could easily substitute a print from the Subtles 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment (Item # 155229).  I die cut a Basic White image layer using one of the layering dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies.

I stamped the tulip images from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set in Petal Pink Ink.  The tulip heads are a two-step stamp, so I stamped off my Petal Pink Ink before stamping the second image.  I stamped the stem and leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink.  Then I used the Tulip Dies to die cut the stems, leaves and tulip heads.  Tip:  Your flowers are easier to arrange on your card if you die cut the elements as separate elements. 

I finished the card by adding a White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon Bow, and stamped a sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.  I added a few rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete my card.
