Valentine's Day Card idea using Stampin' Up! Adorable Owls Stamp Set

Need whimsical, cute images for your next card project?  Then you'll love the Adorable Owls Stamp Set.  Whether you use one owl or create a grouping by stamping multiples, you're sure to enjoy these darling little creatures.  Today, I'm using them in pairs with a greeting from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set to make a Valentine's Day card.  However there are several general-purpose greetings in this stamp set that work for a variety of occasions.  Today's card uses a color theme of Calypso Coral and Petal Pink along with an assortment of Soft Suede, Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie, and Ivory Blends to color my Owls.  After stamping and coloring my Owls, I fussy cut them and added them to a card using Calypso Coral & Petal Pink Cardstock layers and a print from the Dandy Designs 12 X 12" Designer Series Paper, another Free Sale-A-Bration Selection.  During Sale-A-Bration you can select Free gifts from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure for each $50 or $100 you order, less tax and shipping. The basecard for today's card is Calypso Coral Cardstock.  Then, I used one of the Calypso Coral prints from the Dandy Designer 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper and matted it with Petal Pink cardstock.  I layered a 1/4" strip of Calypso Coral on the diagonal.  Next, I created an image layer using Petal Pink Cardstock matted with Calypso Coral Cardstock.      

I stamped in Back Memento Ink two of the Adorable Owls from the Stampin' Up! Adorable Owls Stamp Set.  I used Soft Suede, Ivory, Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, and Pumpkin Pie Blends to color each of the owls.  I fussy cut them, and then popped them up on Dimensionals to add them to my image layer.  

To finish my card I used a retired Stampin' Up! heart punch and punched out two hearts to add above the images of the owls.  I used a sentiment from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set, which is a great Valentine's set, and added it to a Calypso Coral stitched circle die cut using the Stylish Circle dies.  I stamped the sentiment in Versa-Mark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder, and set it using my Heat tool.   I added dimensionals and added the sentiment to the card.
