- Cat-themed friendship card using Love Cats Stamp Set
- Spaces remain for upcoming card class
- FREE gift with March 2023 10 Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit
I love working with Black & White and one additional color. So today, I'm showcasing a card using two Black & White prints, Sweet Sorbet accents, and I'm using the Stampin' Up! Love Cats Stamp Set. I used the Stylish Shape Dies to die cut a Basic White Circle, stamped one of the cats from Love Cats Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, added a sentiment and layered it over Black, White and Sweet Sorbet layers. This is a fast card that you'll love to create when you want to send a heartfelt message, but don't have a lot of time.
The basecard for today's card is Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then a layer of Sweet Sorbet Cardstock, and then a layer of a Black and White Stripes from the Patterned Paper Designer Series Paper Pack (retired). I tend to hang on to any remaining Black and White Prints even if they are retired, as I love making dramatic, but simple cards using Black & White prints. I used another Black & White dotted print from the Perfectly Penciled 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper Pack to create the banner under the image layer.
Next, I used the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a Basic White circle to use as my image layer. I used my Stamparatus to stamp one of the cats from Love Cats Stamp Set onto the circle using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I covered the hearts that were part of this cat image with a sticky note, and colored them separately with a Sweet Sorbet marker before stamping them onto the circle. I used my Stamparatus and stamped the cat image twice in order to ensure good coverage of my black cat.
