Delightful floral cards using Stampin' Up! Two-Tone Flora Stamp Set
Here's a simple card with that dazzles! I used the Two-tone Flora Stamp Set to create florals and leaves, and selected sentiments from several different stamp set to use on my cards, because the layout is so versatile. The florals are a two-step stamp, and I stamped the based color in Pale Papaya ink and the the highlights in Pumpkin Pie ink. The leaves are stamped in Old Olive ink. I used the Something Fancy Dies to die cut sentiment layers and stamped sentiments in Old Olive ink. I layered a strip of Pal Papaya Faux Velvet Trim under my sentiment layer, and I added a couple of Adhesive Backed Milky Dots to the sentiment.
The basecard for today's card is Pale Papaya Cardstock. Then a layer of Old Olive, and the image layer is Basic White Cardstock.
Then I covered the Basic White Cardstock layer with multiple stamped floral images and leaves from the Two-tone Floral Stamp Set. For the large florals, I began by stamping the base layer of this two-step stamp in Pale Papaya. Then I used the highlight layer for this floral with Pumpkin Pie ink to create the floral images. I used Old Olive ink to stamp the leaves.
To finish my card, I used the Something Fancy dies and cut one Basic White layer and a slightly larger Vellum Cardstock Layer. I stamped a variety of sentiments from different stamp sets to show the versatility of this layout. I layered the sentiments over a piece of Pale Papaya 1/2" Faux Velvet Trim, adding dimensionals just to the top and the bottom of the sentiment layer, as the Trim is a bit bulky. Then I added a couple of Adhesive Backed Milky Dots to the sentiment layer. Both the Two-toned Floral Stamp Set and the Something Fancy Dies will carry over to the new Annual catalog being released 2 May 2023.
