Today I pulled out a stamp set and punch I've had for a while, but haven't had a chance to play with yet. I have several cards I want to make with this set, and today I decided to begin with this card. I love working with Soft Sea Foam, so my color theme is Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive and Basic White. I used the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder to create a subtle background for my images, and used the Scalloped Contours Dies to create a Vellum layer and a Basic White layer as the focal point for the Petal Park floral images. I used a Blending Brush to color the vellum with Old Olive ink to add a bit of contrast to the card. I stamped the florals in Petal Park Stamp Set using Soft Sea Foam Ink, and then used the coordinating Petal Park Punch to punch out three sizes of the flowers. I also used leaves and accent pieces from the Cheerful Daisies Dies, Gorgeous Garden Dies, and the Timeless Arrangements Dies, to create more interest on the card. The sentiments are from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set, and I'm using up Rhinestones from the retired Nobel Peacock Rhinestones pack as accents.
The basecard for this card is Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Then a layer of Soft Seafoam dry embossed using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. The image area is two layers created using the Scalloped Contours Dies. The larger layer is Vellum Cardstock colored with Old Olive ink using a Blending Brush. The smaller image layer is Basic White Cardstock.
Next, I stamped the three floral images from the Petal park Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock using Soft Sea Foam ink. I punched them out using the coordinating Petal Park Punch. I wanted an assortment of leaves and accent pieces, so I created them using Basic White and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and the Tieless Arrangements Dies, Cheerful Daisies Dies, and the Gorgeous Garden Dies. I cut apart stems and leaves from the Gorgeous Garden dies to use on my card.
To complete my card, I used my sentiments from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set and stamped them in Old Olive Ink onto the Basic White Scalloped layer. To finish my card, I added a few Rhinestones from a retired Nobel Peacock Rhinestones pack.
