The Stampin' Up! Horse & Sleigh Collection became available as an Online Exclusive in early July, and I had so much fun today looking through the nature-themed Designer Series Paper that coordinate with this wonderful Horse & Sleigh Stamp Set and Dies to use on today's cards. I was so excited I finished two cards. I'll show you the first today and tune into my blog tomorrow for the recipe for the other card I created. My color theme for today's card is Pebbled Path and Basic White and a bit of Silver Foil. I used an assortment of Blends to color the images in my Horse and Sleigh, including Moody Mauve, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, Lost Lagoon, Gray Granite, Copper Clay and SU1000. I used sentiments from the Horse & Sleight Stamp Set, and Heat Embossed the sentiment in White Embossing Powder. I also used White Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes from the snowflake assortment that is part of the Horse & Sleigh Collection.
The basecard for this card is Pebbled Path Cardstock. Then a layer of one of the prints from the One Horse Open sleight 6" X 6" Designers Series Paper.
Next, I stamped the stamped the sleigh and horse from the Horse & Sleigh Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and colored the horse with Light Pebbled Path with a touch of Moody Mauve. The sleigh is also colored in Light Pebbled Path. The people are colored using Blends of Moody Mauve, Light Wild Wheat, Light Lost Lagoon, Light Copper Clay and for skin color I used Blends SU1000. three floral images from the Petal park Stamp Set onto Basic White Cardstock and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock using Soft Sea Foam ink. I also die cut the runners from a sheet of Silver Foil. I also die cut the snow the horse and sleigh are moving on, and highlighted the tops using Light Gray Granite Blends. I propped the horse and sleigh up on Dimensionals before adding it to the card.
To complete my card, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create a Pebbled Path sentiment label. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Horse & Sleigh stamp Set using Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder, and set it using my Heat tool. To finish my card, I added a two of the smaller White snowflakes from the Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment.
