I've been planning to make this card ever since I saw it demonstrated by Jay Soriano from Mitosu Crafts during the June 2023 Stampin' Up! Creativity Now event for Demonstrators, showcasing new products. The Stampin' Up! Horse & Sleigh is an Online Exclusive Collection. You won't find this in any of the Stampin' Up! catalogs. It's only available on the Stampinup.com website. I followed Jay Soriano's video tutorial with a few changes to make this my own. It used Designer Series Paper from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper Pack, die cuts from the Horse & Sleigh Dies, and the images and sentiment are from the Horse & Sleigh stamp set. You'll have fun creating this fun fold Holiday card for someone special, and you'll be glad you started creating your Holiday cards early.
The basecard for this card is Thick Basic White and Basic White. You'll want to visit Jay Soriano's video tutorial for dimensions and to see the fancy folds connector pieces up close. Then there is a single piece of the One Horse Open sleight 6" X 6" Designers Series Paper cut for the center and each side panel for this card. There is a 10" x 1-1/2" Basic White connecting piece that holds all three of the panels as well as the Horse & Sleigh.
Next, I stamped the stamped the sleigh and horse from the Horse & Sleigh Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and die cut it with the Horse & Sleigh Dies. I colored the horse using Light and Dark Crumb Cake Blends with a Dark Real Red harness. The sleigh is colored using Dark Real Red with Dark Cherry Cobbler shading, and Dark Crumb Cake runners. The couple enjoying the sleigh ride are colored using the following Blends: Dark and Light Crumb Cake, Dark Pool Party and SU 1000.
