- Home For The Holidays October 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Oh my gosh! I had no idea how beautiful the Stampin' Up! Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper was until I opened the package and thumbed through the sheets. I'm going to get so much use out of this Designer Series paper, which I'm using with the Translucent Florals Stamp Set and Dies. The card today uses a color theme of Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Pretty Peacock and Basic White. I used the Nested Essentials Dies to create sentiment labels from Berry Burst Cardstock, and I fussy cut a floral image from one of the other prints from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper to use with a second print from the Designer Series Paper. I also included Die cuts from Timeless Arrangements Dies and Cheerful daisies Dies to accent the translucent floral I used. At the top of the tree, I added a gold star die cut using one of the dies in the Merriest Trees Dies.
I also added a small bow of Sweet Sorbet 1/8" Metallic Ribbon, and add Melon Mambo Glossy Dots to one card and Moody Mauve In Color Dots to the other card as I couldn't decide which I like best. They both worked perfectly with the other colors on this card. The Translucent Florals Stamp Set and Dies and the Delightful Florals Designer Series Paper can be found on the Stampin' Up! Website under Online Exclusives. These are not in the catalogs.
The basecard for this card is Fresh Freesia Cardstock. Then I used a Berry burst Cardstock as a matte, and, finally, I selected on the beautiful prints from the Delightful Floral 12" X 12: Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives as a wide border along one side of my card.
Next, I selected a floral image from another sheet from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper and fussy cut it to use on my card. I also die cut foliage from Basic White and Pretty Peacock Cardstock using dies from the cheerful Daisies Dies and Timeless Arrangement Dies. I popped the floral onto Dimensionals and layered the foliage die cuts behind the floral image.
To finish my cards, I die cut a sentiment label using the Nested Essentials Dies, and stamped sentiments from the Translucent Florals Stamp Set on one card and from cheerful Daisies Stamp Set on the other card using Versamark ink. I covered the wet ink with White Embossing powder, and then used my Heat Tool to set the Embossing Powder. I popped the sentiment label sup on Dimensionals before adding it to my card front. As accents, I added a bow out of 18" Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon, and also added Dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment to one card and from the In Color Dots for my other card.
