Nearing the close of Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration 2024, there are still so many wonderful offerings left to share. You'll want to grab any remaining limited edition selections before they are gone forever at the end of this month or before these special items risk selling out as 29 February approaches. One of my favorites from this Sale-A-Bration is the Softly Sophisticated Bundle, which includes the Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set and the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder found on page 14 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Today's cards combine the Softly Sophisticated Bundle with another Free Sale-A-Bration Selection -- Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper--to create handmade cards that are sure to spread smiles. My color theme for these cards is Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, and Basic White. You'll add texture to your cards using the Everyday Details Dies and the Softly Sophisticate Embossing Folder. The charming florals and sentiments from the Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set will warm the hearts of your loved one or anyone you grace with one of your creations.
You'll enjoy creating this simple card elevated with embossed textures and unique die cuts. I began with a Calypso Coral Cardstock basecard. Then a layer of Basic White dry embossed using the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. Then I added a 2" watercolored horizontal strip from the Softly Stippled 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper Pack.
To finish the card, I uses a light Calypso Coral Blends to color a couple of the Flirty Flamingo Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to match the Calypso Coral in my card. The final touch was finding a roll of retired Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim in my stash which I used for a small bow.
