Sending seasonal cards to friends and family is a thoughtful gesture that demonstrates you're thinking of them, fostering deeper connections. This simple act can bring a smile to their faces, warm their hearts, and even brighten their day. Beyond the sentimental value, crafting seasonal cards allows you to express your personality and showcase your artistic side. Beginning early ensures you have time to create something memorable, that reflects your personality, and avoids last-minute stress. While I've created several Christmas Card designs, today I'm creating Hanukkah cards using the Stampin' Up! Celebrate The Miracle Stamp Set, Item #165131 | $24.00 USD, an Online Exclusive. My color theme is Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, and Smoky Slate. The images are heat embossed using White Embossing Powder onto Blueberry Bushel and Smoky Slate squares. The sentiments are from the Celebrate The Miracle Stamp Set, and are stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink. I added a retired Silver Satin ribbon from my stash to complete the card.
The basecard for this card is Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. Then, a layer of Basic White Cardstock. I thought about embossing this layer, but decided it might make the card too busy. I wanted the images to remain the focal point. Than I create squares to use as frames from my images. The largest square is 3-1/4 X 3-1/4" Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. Then a square of Basic White that measure 3" X 3" layer. Then two Blueberry Bushell square of 1-3/8" X 1-3/8" and two Smoky Slate squares that also measure 1-3/8" X 1-3/8".
The images are from the Celebrate the Miracle Stamp Set. They were stamped in VersaMark ink, then covered with White Embossing Powder, which were set using a Heat Tool. Then the 4 squares were arranged onto center square layers and glued into place.
