- Stampin' Up! Terrific Toadstools Treat Holders

I'm back from the Stampin' Up! OnStage Convention where we had an early look at many new stamp sets and dies from the upcoming May 6 Annual Catalog release. In additions to the fun new product demonstrations and excitement of Convention, I also attended a couple of additional events put on by other Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. One was the Wendy Lee and Melonie Hockin's Craft-ermath Event. The event craft tables were decorated with pink mushrooms and butterflies. Participants brought "table gifts" for the six table mates they were seated with. I lucked out -- not knowing the decorating theme-- by creating a tablemate treat box with a mushroom theme using the Terrific Toadstools Stamp Set and punch bundle. Below is one of the cute tables with the mushroom and butterfly centerpieces.
These were my terrific tablemates for the evening. That's me in the green top on the right.
This was the cute treat holder I created for tablemate gifts for the event. I used a color pallet of Smoky Slate, Basic White, Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade. Here is my treat holder next to one of the pink and white mushrooms centerpieces.

In addition to the Terrific Toadstools Stamp Set and Coordinating Punch, I also used a woodgrain patterned print from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. I die cut a half circle using Spotlight of Nature Die. I stamped off Smoky Slate ink and stamped a text background from Elements of Text Stamp Set, and created a Basic White stitched sentiment label using a die from Enduring Beauty.
I stamped the mushroom heads in Poppy Parade Ink and the large stem in Smoky Slate Ink. I used the coordinating punch to punch out the large Mushroom head and the large Smoky Slate stem. For the trio of smaller mushrooms, I stamped them in the same two colors and fussy cut them. I stamped the leaves from Terrific Toadstools in Granny Apple Green and fussy cut it as well.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Terrific Toadstools Stamp set in Smoky Slate, and popped it up on Dimensionals before adding it to the front of the treat holder. I used the Book Treat Boxes, which come in a package of 10 boxes available as item #164048 on the Stampin' Up Online Exclusive section.
