Fresh as a daisy for Spring and available to order right now. The You Are Remarkable Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives is your ultimate creative companion for Spring cards. Save time using the separate stamps in this set for coloring the flower head and leaves and stems. Or, you can choose to use your favorite coloring technique such as water coloring or Blends Markers to color the floral image. You'll create memorable cards using the floral images as well as the sentiments included with this set. These two cards show how beautiful You Are Remarkable is when paired with Petal Pink striped Designer Series Paper from the Mixed Media Florals Paper Pack. I used a color palette of Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie, and White on these two cards. For embellishments, I added a Petal Pink Ribbon Bow and Tiny Bee Trinkets. Thanks to Julie Gilson from Stampingala for inspiration for these cards.
The card base on both cards is Petal Pink Cardstock. Then a layer of Basic White Cardstock. The next basic White layers include dry embossing. Grab your favorite. Exposed Brick, Painted Texture, and Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folders all work well. One card uses a large vertical piece of Petal Pink striped Designer Series Paper from Mixed Media Florals, The second card uses a 3/4" wide strip of the same Designer Series Paper used in a vertical format.
Basic White Cardstock was used for the image area on both cards. On the vertical card, the image was stamped and colored and then dry embossed with an embossing folder.
In both cases, the images were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on regular Cardstock. I wanted to water color the images, and I would typical use Watercolor Paper and Stazon ink, however, this is a photopolymer stamp and I prefer using Memento Ink rather than Stazon Ink with my photopolymer stamps. Because I used regular cardstock, it was important to water color lightly rather than going over the image multiple time, to avoid wetting the paper too much. I added a couple of drops of Petal Pink Reinker to a clear block and colored my flowers with a Water Painter. Than I added Granny Apple Green to another Clear Block and colored the stem and leaves. I used Pecan Pie ink to color the center of the flowers.
For embellishments, I added a border to the bottom of the striped DSP on the horizontal card using the retired Scalloped Contour Dies. Another option from this die set is a scalloped border die. Or, just about any border die in your stash would work. I also added ribbon bows to each card using 1/4" Petal Pink Ribbon from the Petal Pink & White 1/4" Diagonal Trim Combo Pack. Finally, I added Tiny Bee Trinkets to use as accent on the cards. I plan to leave the inside without sentiment, and add the sentiments from this stamp set once I use the card.

As we get closer to the release of the new May Annual catalog and the five new In Colors for 2025-2027, stock of the retiring In Colors run low or may sells out. This is a good time to check your supplies of these In Color cardstock, ink pads, ink refills, Blends Markers and Stampin' Write Markers and order any you will need for projects you plan to complete such as scrapbooks, Paper Pumpkin Kits or Kit Collection Kits.

The supplies were pulled and we are waiting to hear when it will return. Cloud Cover IS available in Cardstock and Stampin' Write Markers.
