Birthday cards at the ready
Today's projects highlight a couple of Birthday Cards using some of the new products from the Occasions Catalog. The first card uses two sets; a Sale-A-Bration set called Amazing You and the balloons are from an Occasion catalog set called Bird Banter. I have several sets that include balloons, but the balloons in this set became my instant favorite. The second birthday card uses images from one of the Occasions catalog sets called Picture Perfect Birthdays. As the new year begins, I'm sure one of your resolutions was to send birthday cards to family and friends this year. Start the year off right by building up your stock of Birthday cards so you're always ready with a wonderful card to send.
The basecard for this first card is Island Indigo. Then a layer of Pool Party. The three patterned layers are created with the Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape.
The balloons and sentiments are stamped in Island Indigo ink. The sentiment is die cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits.

The next birthday card uses a stamp set from the Occasion Catalog that is perfect for all kinds of celebrations called Picture Perfect Birthday It includes a number of stamps that create fun backgrounds and boarders.
The card below uses one of the 6 sentiments included with this stamp set. It is such a fast card to put together.
The patterns above and below the sentiment block was stamped in Flirty Flamingo. The base card is Smoky Slate. The small bow is from the Sale-A-Bration Shimmer Ribbon Pack. It includes gorgeous shimmery ribbon in Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, and Calypso -- 5 yards each. This is a great free selection with your next $50 order.

The small silver sequin accents are from the Metallics Sequin Assortment from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.
