I've been so excited to use the new Love Casts Stamp Set. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day! I used the Stampin' Up! Love Cats Stamp Set to create Valentine Cards. I used a Sweet Sorbet, Basic White and Tuxedo Black Memento color theme and adds some Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper as accents. I used a heart print and a border print from the Country Floral pack. I stamped the cats in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. And I found that I was able to get much better coverage of my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by using my Stamparatus and stamping each cat image twice. I used the Stylish Shape Dies to create a circle for my cat image and I used the same dies to die cut a Sweet Sorbet sentiment label. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Love Cats Stamp Set, and colored Heart Pearls with Light Sweet Sorbet Blends to add to my card.
The basecard for today's card is Sweet Sorbet Cardstock. Then a layer of Basic White Cardstock, and then a layer of a heart prints from the Country Floral Lane 12" X 12" Designer Series paper. I used a boarder print from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, and then die cut a stitched circle of Basic White using the Stylish Shape Dies.
Next, I mounted the cat stamps onto my Stamparatus and used Tuxedo black Memento Ink to stamp my cats. As mentioned earlier, I found I was able to get excellent coverage by using my Stamparatus and stamping each cat twice. Then I used a Sweet sorbet Blends to color the heart from one of the cat's tails.
