Today's card uses the Touched My Heart Host Stamp Set. Its a simply Black and White card with lots of textures. I used the Many Medallions to create a subtle Basic Black texture on top of the Basic Black card front, which you'll have to look closely to see, and the Wrapped in Textured Embossing Folder to create a subtle White element. Vellum Cardstock and Gems completed this simple card. Different sentiments from the Touched My Heart Stamp Set create cards for different uses.
The basecard for this card is Basic Black Cardstock. Then a layer of basic Black Many Medallions creates subtle textures. On the right side, a piece of Whisper White is dry embossed using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder.
The image layer is Whisper White Cardstock matted with Vellum Cardstock. The images and Sentiment are from the Touched my Heart Host Stamp Set.
One tip: With so many textures on the right side of the card, you'll want to only add Stampin' Dimensionals to the left hand side of the image layer, and use Gle of Seal on the right hand side. Another tip: I add glue and or Dimensionals behind the Whisper White are of the Vellum so that it wouldn't show through the Vellum Cardstock.
For the Sympathy card, I colored Smaller Clear Epoxy Droplets with the Card Basic Black Stampin' Blends. For the card with the "touch my heart" sentiment, I used three of the beautiful Gilded Gems. If it were closer to Valentines day, I would have used some of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels or Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
