Over the Moon Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!
This is such an adorable, sweet, endearing set. It will delight anyone who receives a card made with this set. Over the Moon Stamp Set is a new set in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog, and it includes the most delightful cows! Who came up with these? I just want to hug them!
I was going to create a card that used just one cow image, but one cow looked so lonely that I recut my image layer so my cow could have a friend. When they finish, this cow can take his date to the moooovies. How do you tell which cow is the best dancer? Wait until one busts a mooooove. Oh no, I can see it now. Lots of bad cow jokes in our future. . . unless they fall udderly flat... hee, hee, hee.
This card uses a basecard of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Then a layer of Whisper White. Then a layer of one of the prints from Garden Land Designer Series Paper. Then a layer of Terracotta Tile, which mats the Whisper White image layer, and is die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
The cow images are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Then they were colored with Blends Markers The sentiment was also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used some sequins from a set that were not in a package, but it didn't matter. They weren't the exact color match I needed for this card, so I used Blends to color them to match my card.
One more joke? Okaaay. What do you call a cow with a twitch? Beef Jerky.
I really hadn't planned to like this set, but the more I look at it, the more ideas I have for this set. Stay tuned for more cards with this set. Let me know if you also want the bad cow jokes to continue or not. You'll Love What You Make with this set.
