Stampin' Up! Serene Garden Bundle
Yes, it's another card with the Stampin' Up! Serene Garden stamp set. I can put it down! If you love dramatic, artistic cards, you'll love working with this stamp set and coordinating dies. Today, I paired two new colors with this set -- Gorgeous Grape and Heather Highland. I just made a bunch of these cards for a card swap, but I couldn't wait to show it to you. This card uses a technique called Embossed Resist. Its created by sponging ink over a heat-embossed image.
The basecard for this card is Heather Highland. Then a layer of Gorgeous Grape. The image layer is Whisper White. The leaf images from the Serene Grapefruit Grove is stamped in VersaMark Ink on Whisper White. Then the VersaMark is covered with White embossing powder and heat embossed with my Heat Tool. I used a sponge and Gorgeous Grape ink pad and swirled the embossed area, covering the White embossed image. Use a paper towel or tissue to wipe any ink off the embossed area. The bird is also White heat embossed on a small piece of Gorgeous Grape. Then it is die cut using the coordinating Garden Scene Framelit Dies.
The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set. Its stamped in Gorgeous Grape on Whisper White and then die cut using one of the Stitched Labels Framelits. It is backed with a small piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The bottom of the card includes a dotted line created by one of the dies in the Stitched Labels Framelit Dies set, adding to the interest of this card. I love the look of the sponged color on this card. It looks good enough to eat! In this heat, I wish I had a grape ice!
The Stampin' Up! Serene Garden Bundle can be purchased at a 10% saving.
