Stampin' Up! Detailed Dragonfly Dies
I needed a quick card today and reached for the Copper Foil sheet. I love the copper foil sheets, but it is so frustrating trying to photograph the shiny surfaces to show the color correctly. It either ends up looking like Gold foil rather than Copper, or there is no "pop" at all! Ahh!
I used one of the papers from the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper packs (142788) and Sahara Sand cardstock against a Soft Suede base card. I also used copper embossing powder for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Lift me Up set, and worked well for my needs today.
I also used one of the Washi Tapes from Affectionately Your, which has a shiny, spotted copper background which matches the Copper Foil sheets. The unusual design on the left hand side of the card? It was a scrap of Very Vanilla that was created by running one of the dies from Flourishes Thinlits twice. This was the space between the two die cuts. I was headed to my ribbon stash for a Very Vanilla ribbon, but liked the way it looked so grabbed it out of my scrap pile to use on this card.
