Emerald Envy Delightful Daisy
Whoo-whee! We got our first peek at the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog products earlier today, and we'll make some beautiful Christmas Cards with these new products. We'll see more Holiday catalog products as Stampin' Up! releases videos to demonstrators this week.
Today, I'm playing with the Delightful Daisy suite again. Its such a cute set with so much versatility. I pulled out one of the the Designer Series Papers (DSP) from the Delightful Daisy 12 X 12 pack with refreshing white dots on an Emerald Envy ombre background. With the Houston heat today, I really enjoyed the mint colors in this paper. Then I paired this DSP with Whisper White and Emerald Envy cardstock, and the rest of this simple card fell into place.

I pulled out one of the the Designer Series Papers (DSP) from the Delightful Daisy 12 X 12 pack with refreshing white dots on an Emerald Envy ombre background. With the Houston heat today, I really enjoyed the mint colors in this paper. Then I paired this DSP with Whisper White and Emerald Envy cardstock, and the rest of this simple card fell into place.
The basecard is thick Whisper White. The Daisies are stamped in Emerald Envy with Old Olive stems. I would have preferred Pear Pizzazz, but I've misplaced that ink pad (have you ever done that?) and just grabbed my old fall-back favorite. Thank you is stamped in Basic Black.
I heat embossed the rest of the sentiment in white embossing powder. Stamp the sentiment in Versa-Mark, pour on the White Stampin' embossing powder and heat with your Heat Tool until the sentiment turns shiny. You'll notice one card includes a few sequin embellishments. Whenever I find a smudge of ink on a finished card, rather than redoing the card, I use the smudge as an opportunity to embellish.
