Stampin' Up! Blushig Bride Beautiful You
Boy, I'm sure feeling Daylight Saving Time. So is our Australian Shepard, Cookie. Neither one of us can get the timing of our normal routine correct today. Did you know that workplace injuries and heart attacks go up the Monday after we go on daylight saving? Driving accidents go up the first morning we Spring forward? Twenty three states are considering abolishing daylight savings time! I DO like the longer daylight in the evening, but it seems like it take me at least a week to acclimated to daylight saving time each year.
I'm so glad I completed this card on Saturday. I just didn't think I would have had the energy today! This card looks so good in person! The Glitter papers and Designer Series Papers Stampin' Up! offers us makes it almost fool-proof to put together amazing cards.
This card uses one of the papers from the Falling in Love Designer Series paper pack from the Occasions catalog. The die used is the So Detailed Thinlits Dies. The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Dreams. The Z Card dimensions are a 11 X 4-1/2 base card folded to 4-1/4 X 5-1/2 and then the top 5-1/2 layer is folded back onto itself to 2-3/4.
The Beautiful You image was watercolored with an Aqua Painter and ink from the Sweet Sugarplum pad. When opened flat there are panels where you can add a personal message or add another sentiment.
I sent one version of this to my mother and stamped a "thinking of you" sentiment from the Window Shopping set, used the Very Vanilla banner on the inside panels for personal messages, and used some of the heart shapes that come out of the chads from this die cut to decorate the middle panels before sending.
