Santa Christmas
Today's card comes from one of the Holiday stamps in the main catalog, not the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. Father Christmas stamp set is one of the traditional stamp sets that I've loved since it was released. Paired with the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Papers, with its deep Old Olive compliments, this just brightens the season.

The basecard for this card is Old Olive, then a layer of Basic Black, and then a layer of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP). There is also a stripe of Pick a Pattern Washi Tape along the left edge of the DSP.
A two inch wide Very Vanilla tag was punched with the Scalloped Tag Punch, and the Santa is stamped in Basic Black Archival. The tree is the only item I colored on the Santa image. I used the new Old Olive Blends, new alcohol blender pens being tested by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. The top of the tag includes a 3/8" Gold and Very Vanilla Metallic Edged Ribbon and Mini Gold Sequins. I also cut a few pine sprigs with Pretty Pines Thinlits, tucked behind the bow.
I used one of the sentiments from the Hearts come Home set and a banner from Rose Wonder. I created the banner using White embossing on an Old Olive tag and die cut the tag using the Rose Garden Thinlit. The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

Christmas Card Class - October 22, 2017
Get a jump on creating your handmade Christmas Cards by joining us this week end to make these wonderful projects. This is the first of several Christmas Card classes I'll host over the next few months leading up to the holidays. Registration is now open for the Oct 22 class where we'll make the projects pictured below.
We'll make seven different card designs and one gift box that you'll enjoy filling with gift tags, candies, cookies or gift cards. The inside of the box is coated so its food safe for your favorite cookies or chocolate treats.
