Delightful Daisy Suite
Today's card uses another paper from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP). I have to admit that I had difficulty deciding what cardstock to match with this piece of Delightful Daisy DSP. I tried about half a dozen combinations, and finally settled on a cardstock color I haven't used in quite a while; Cajun Craze. In real life it pulls the peach/orange shades out of the Designer Series Paper.
I paired the thin boarder of Cajun Craze with So Saffron, which I used as my basecard. The daisy is stamped in Cajun Craze and a second daisy was stamped in Crushed Curry. The sentiment is stamped on a square stitched Whisper White card cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits on the Big Shot Die cutting machine.
The Daisy punch was used to punch out each layer of the Daisy and then two Daisies were layered together. The center of the Daisy is a new gold faceted gem.
Like many of the new papers, this print has a watercolor look with brighter portions (towards the top of the card on the left, below) and lighter portions towards the bottom of the papers. Its not a printing mistake; its a style trend that shows up in many of our papers this season. A small piece of the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon accents the daisy.

Card Making Class
The June 28 card making class will use Berry Burst patterns from the Fresh Florals Designer Series papers to make the book card box, below, and 7 matching cards.
We'll make these 7 cards and the matching book box, above, which www.Janbcard.com graciously allowed me to case from her site.
We'll use serveral new products from the 2017-2018 Stampin Up! annual catalog that was released June 1.
For your cards, you can choose general sentiments to stamp on your cards -- like the samples -- or choose from a variety of sentiments you'll have available to select from.
You'll also be able to customize the sentiment on your book card box. Here are two sample sentiments you might select.
Have fun customizing your cards and box. Just think how much your friends or family will enjoy receiving your special hand made creations.
