I've been working on my Halloween Treats today, using the September Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin Kit. I started by sorting the numerous fall-themed die cuts. Wow! What a stash of die cuts...all in perfect fall colors. I love the multi-occasions stamp set to use with the supplies to make 20 cracker box treat packages. Pumpkins, leaves, Halloween cats and witches hats. So much to work with! Although you can choose cracker box treat packages in strips or checks, I decide to make all of mine in the Cajun Craze checks. Then I added from the huge assortment of die cuts and sentiment labels. The first two cracker box teat sets I made used the cat and the witches hat die cuts I attached flowers, leaves, vines, and filigree doily die cut elements. I used the Cajun Craze ink spot and the Fall occasions stamp set to stamp sentiments for each treat box. I folded the treat boxes, using my bone folder to ensure sharp creases on the pre-scored lines of the cracker treat boxes. Bakers twine in both black and white were included with this kit, and after filling the cracker boxes with three Hersey Nuggets, I used the baker's twine to close the ends of each box.

Perfect as Place Cards on a Thanksgiving Table

If you decide to use these cracker treat boxes for a Fall event or for Thanksgiving table treats, you might want to select the pumpkins, flowers and leaves die cuts to decorate your boxes. Tip for this kit: The September Hello Paper Pumpkin Kit included a very large number of die-cut pumpkins flowers, sentiment labels, die cut vines, doily designs, witch hats and black cats. To speed up assembly and to keep myself organized, I found a cake tray--you might find a cupcake holder--that I used to hold the die cuts until I was ready to add them to my cracker box treat holders. This means I could easily move my assembly from my craft room to my TV room when I felt the need for a change of scenery. I also found that using my silicon craft sheets while gluing small items together was a great solution to avoid sticky work surfaces.

A touch of Gold Foil and the Pine Wood Dies create a stunning Christmas Card

I used the Pine Wood Dies again to create this lovely Christmas card. I added a touch of sparkle by adding Gold Foil underneath one of the detailed tree die cuts. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Wrapped In Christmas Stamp Set, and the embossed background is created using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing folder. I can't wait to send these as my Christmas cards this year!

The basecard for this card is Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then a layer of Very Vanilla dry embossed using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. Then I used another piece of Very Vanilla and die cut a layer for my tree image using one of the dies from the Hippo & Friends Dies.

I used the Pine Woods Dies to cut the Very Vanilla detailed tree image. I first backed the Very Vanilla cardstock with a piece of Adhesive Sheets. I used another die from the Pine woods Dies to cut a tree shape from gold Foil Sheets to mount behind the detailed tree. Then I removed the backing from the Adhesive Sheet to adhere the detailed Very vanilla tree to the Gold Foil Sheet. You could use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen instead of the Adhesive Sheet, but I didn't want to get glue on my Gold Foil Sheet, and since I was making multiples of this card, I found that I saved considerable time using the Adhesive Sheets rather than meticulously applying glue to the back of the detailed tree die cut.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Christmas Blessing sentiment from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set in Versamark ink, covered it with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, and set it with my Heat Tool. I used my bone folder to create the wavy look on my sentiment layer. I created a double bow using Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon and added it to the corner of my card. I added 3 Gold Metallic Pearls to my image layer to pull together the gold elements used on this card.
