Stampin' Up! So Many Stars
As I was finishing up this Christmas Card using So Many Stars Stamp Set and Stitched Stars Dies, it dawned on me that this stamp set and star dies would be perfect for making cards for Veteran's Day. Now I can't wait to get back into my studio to make a card commemorating our Veterans with red, white and blue stars. But first, I'll tell you how I made this card.
This card uses a basecard of Blueberry Bushel. Then a strip of Copper Foil. On the right hand side is a print from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.

For the star images, I used dies from the Stitched Stars Dies and cut them from Copper Foil Sheets. I cut one of the swirls from the set as an accent to the card front. To avoid getting glue on the front side of the Copper Foil, I place Multipurpose glue on a sponge, work it in well, place the stars on a Silicon Sheet and dab the glue on the backside of the stars without moving the star on the Silicon sheet.
The sentiment is stamped in Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink on Whisper White and hand cut.
To accent the center of the star, I added one of the Star Designer Elements and added three more on the card front. he Garden Green 3/8" Double-Stitched Ribbon finishes the card.
