Let the Stippled Roses Stamp Set do the work to create Monochromatic Roses

While the muted, monochromatic Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper creates classy, dramatic cards here, here, here and here, vibrant colors add an entirely different dimension to the look of the Stippled Roses Bundle.  This stamp set does most of the work when creating stunning roses images to create your design.  To create these monochromatic roses, simply stamp the large image in Calypso Coral Ink, and then color the roses with Light Calypso Coral Blends using a light touch.  Then, stamp the large roses image a second time using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and color just the leaves with Granny Apply Green Blends. Die cut both the colored roses images and the colored leaves image.   Then, cut the leaves from the colored roses images and glue the colored roses on top of the image of the colored leaves.  You'll create an eye-catching stippled roses images that works for many occasions.  Select sentiments from those included in Stippled Roses Stamp Set to meet your need. The Calypso Coral and textured Designer Series Paper are from the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper pack along with Calypso Coral basecard and mattes.  While this DSP is a retired paper from Sale-A-Bration, you'll find prints from Poetic Expressions Designer Serie Paper or the new Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper that could create cards similar to this one.  The bow uses 1/8" Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, and the gem is from the Iridescent Pastel Gems accessories pack.   The Stippled Roses Stamp Set and Dies will carry over as individual items in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.  You can purchase the Stamp set and dies as a bundle until April 30 at a 10% savings.  After 1 May, the stamp set and Dies will be sold as individual items without the 10% savings.   Stippled Rose Bundle, Item #162667 | $60.00 $54.00

This card design uses two different prints from the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. The basecard for this card is Calypso Coral Cardstock.  A subtle watercolor design from the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper covers the  front of the Calypso Coral Basecard. Then another textured print from the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper creates a 2" wide image area down the length of the card.  This is matted with Calypso Coral Cardstock. 

The Stippled Roses image was stamped on Basic White Cardstock twice.  Once using Calypso Coral Ink and the second stamped image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Die cut both images.  Color the roses in the image stamped with Calypso Coral Ink using Light Calypso Coral Blends, with a light touch to avoid washing out the darker stippled area.  You'll find that this creates a beautifully blended monochromatic roses that looks like you spend a great deal of time creating, when you only spent a few minutes.  The stippling in the stamp helps you create these special images.  Fussy cut the leaves off these colored roses.   Then, on the second image, only color the leaves using Granny Apple Green Blends.  Go back over the darker inked areas on the leaves to create texture in the the leaves.  Then, go back to the rose buds and add a few strokes of Granny Apple Green to the stems and to a couple areas of the close rose buds.  Once colored, layer the roses onto of the leaves and glue the two images together.  Add dimensionals to the roses image before adding to the card front.  

To finish the card, select sentiments from the Stippled Roses Stamp Set and stamp them on Basic White sentiment labels.  Add a small bow using 1/8" Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, and add a single Calypso coral gem from the Iridescent Pastel gems Pack.

Refresh your stampin' Up! products with the new In Colors available 1 May 2024.  Cardstock, Ink Pads, Reinders, Blends, Stampin' Write Markers, Ribbons, Accessories, and 6" X 6" Designer Series Papers will all be available.
