New Berry Burst from Stampin' Up!
Ohhh my! I think I have a new favorite color!. This is my first card using Berry Burst, one of the new InColors, available June 1 in the new Annual Catalog. Uhhhmm, Uhhmm, Uhmmm! What a great new color! This is a bright, bold, rich addition to the Stampin' Up! color family. I want to melt it with some cream, add sugar, and eat it over French Vanilla ice cream! I chose one of the Berry Burst crackled papers from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack and paired it with the Daisy Delight stamp set for today's card.
I used a Berry Burst basecard and added a background layer of Berry Burst crackle pattern. The Daisey Delight stamp set was used for both the large Daisey as well as the small daisies stamped as a boarder on the top and bottom of the Whisper White image layer.
It can't be seen in these photos, but the Daisy Delight stamp was stamped twice on the Whisper White background to add fullness before adding the two layers of daisy petals punched using the new Daisy punch. This stamp set also includes the leaves, two flower centers and a couple of different sentiments, including the one used on the card above.
The photo above used a sentiment from the Crazy About You set, which includes an incredible variety of sentiments and words that can be used to create many different phrases. The Crazy About You set is on the Retirng List. The sentiment boarder is from the Rose Garden Thinlit and the Rose Wonder Stamp set. I cut two of the sentiment panels; one in Lemon Lime Twist and one in Whisper White. After stamping the sentiment and label boarder, I fussy cut the Whisper White sentiment on the label boarder. Then I layered it on top of the Lemon Lime Twist die cut sentiment panel.
The center of the Daisy was stamped with one of the detailed stamps in the Delightful Daisy set. Then a new Clear Faceted Gem was added to the center of the flower.

Color Theory Suite Sneak Peek video from Stampin' Up!
I've shown this video previously, but if you haven't had time to watch it, you'll love seeing this new suite.
The other new product I'm really excited about are the Gold and Clear faceted gems.
Clear Faceted Gems |
I used the Clear Faceted Gem on the Berry Burst card above. In an earlier card I made with Daisy Delight, I used the Gold Faceted Gems. I predict that these are going to be very popular.
