Sale-A-Bration Fun
Today's card uses one of the fun, free Sale-A-Bration Sets called Epic Celebrations. It includes headphones, an electric guitar and these fun tennis shoes. This is a great set for boy, girls, women or men depending on the colors you choose for your card and accents. I also used elements from another Sale-Bration-Set, called Amazing You, which includes the fun starbursts I used on this card. You can earn either of these sets free with a $50 order before March 31.
I used a basecard of Dapper Denim, then a layer of Marina Mist, then a layer of Whisper White. Then I stamped the starburst from Amazing You under the Whisper White banner with Dapper Denim ink. I then used a gray watercolor pencil and lightly shaded the inside of each starburst lines to give the starbursts some depth.
I stamped the sentiment from the Epic Celebrations set in Marina Mist on to the Whisper White Banner. I stamped the shoes from the Epic Celebrations in Marina Mist and fussy cut them out of Thick Whisper White.
I added a ribbon using the Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon. I popped the shoes up on dimensionals and glued them to the banner. I then added a few Glitter Enamel Dots from the Dapper Denim selection. Fun!
I keep looking at the card and keep thinking about things I could do differently. I'll likely try a version coloring the tennis shoes. I might try silver embossed star bursts. I might try a Pacific Point basecard. I love looking at my cards and know that I can try all kinds of different versions due to colors that coordinate across the Stampin' Up! line.
