Rococo Rose Heart Valentine Card using Stampin' Up! Always In My Heart Bundle

Make a card for your sweetheart, your best friend, your parents with the Always In My Heart Stamp Set and coordinating Floral Heart Dies from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  Today I'm using the Always In My Heart Bundle along with one of the Free Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Papers called Paper Blooms.  This paper is a free selection with a $50 order until February 28.  I added a ribbon using the Blushing Bride 3/8" Metallic Ribbon.  This beautiful ribbon includes a gold metallic thread on one side and is a satin Blushing Bride on the other side.

The card uses a basecard of Rococo Rose Cardstock.  Then a layer of Basic white, and the image layer covers a striped print from the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper pack.

I die cut the floral hear using the Floral Heart dies out of Rococo Rose Cardstock.  Then I cut a small square of Blushing Bride Cardstock and used the center of the floral heart die to die cut just the heart shape.  Then I selected a sentiment from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set and stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose Ink onto the Blushing Bride heart.

The Blushing Bride heart is mounted on Dimensionals before additing it to the image layer.  I also add two Gold Gilded Gems to the heart.  Then I created a bow using 38" Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon.  However, I used the satin side rather than the metallic side.  Both are beautiful, but I wanted to keep my card as monochromatic as possible.

Gilded Leafing and Heat & Stick Powder!

Sometimes the Stampin' Up! Catalog doesn't show the beautiful details of some of our newer products.  One of the new products in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog is the new Gilded Leafing and Heat & Stick Powder to use along with the Art Gallery Bundle from the Fine Art Floral Suite on pages 32 -34 in the mini catalog.

Rococo Rose and Flower & Field Designer Series Paper

Surprise, Surprise.  I'm using Sale-a-Bration Flower & Field Designer Series Paper...one more time.  I'm having such a fun time coordinating cardstock with the beautiful prints in this free with $50 (less tax and shipping) order during Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration.  Today, I paired the print with sentiments from Always in My Heart Stamp Set, Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon, and Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride Cardstock.

Floral handmade greeting card using Sale-a-Bration Flower & Field Designer Series Paper



The card above uses a basecard of Blushing Bride Cardstock.  Then another layer of Rococo Rose Cardstock.  The final background layer is Flower & Field Designer Series Paper.

I cut two of the Stitched Nested Labels shapes for my sentiment.  The mat layer is Rococo Rose, and the sentiment is stamped in Rococo Rose on Whisper White (Basic White) cardstock.

I layered a piece of rococo Rose 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon under the sentiment labels, and then added a Clear Epoxy Droplet to the corner of the sentiment label.  Below are the items used to create todays card.

Basic White items now Available


In early December, Stampin' Up! announced that the supplier's mill producing its Whisper White cardstock had permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Unfortunately, they received little notice, and for a short time Whisper White cardstock and related products were out of stock while they transitioned to new Basic White products.  

Good news!  These Basic White products are now in stock.  

Time Saving Tip:  Grab your copy of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and turn to page 153. Most of these items are listed here, with one item listed on page 154.  Add these numbers to your pages so that when you place your next order, these numbers will already be listed in your catalog, saving you time.
