Paper Lattice embellishments with Stampin' Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set

Today I challenged myself to use one of the embellishments that I've had in my stash for several months, and finally decided to give it a try.  Its the Paper Lattice, Item # 155697 | $6.00 for a pack with 10 pieces, from the Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.  Its a beautiful detailed accent that adds a unique look to your cards.  I paired it with images and a sentiment from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set and its coordinating Flowers of Home Dies.  I created a window opening in my basecard using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and used the Paper Lattice behind the opening.  I stamped the largest flower from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set in Garden Green, and created a circle of Soft Sea Foarm Cardstock for the sentiment.  The basecard is Pale Papaya Cardstock and I added a 1/2" Pale Papaya and White Ribbon, Garden Green foliage die cuts and three Shaded Spruce Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels package.  

To create today's card, I used a base card of  Pale Papaya Cardstock.  Then I used a Stitched Rectangle Die, and used it to cut out an angled opening in my card front.  II inserted the Paper Lattice behind the opening and backed it with Pumkin Pie Cardstock. 

  

Then I stamped the largest floral image from the Stampin' Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set in Garden Green and Die cut it with the coordinating Dies from Flowers of Home dies.  I also die cut a couple of floral branches out of Garden Green using the same Dies.  I also used the Layering Circle Dies to Die cut a Soft Sea Foam circle for my sentiment, and sampled the sentiment in Garden Green ink.  

I added a Pale Papaya & White 1/2" Ribbon to the card front before I added the sentiment and die cut florals.  I used three Shaded Spruce Rhones stones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to give the card a little bling.

Father, We praise You for this fresh revelation today concerning our homes and the blessing we wish to bestow over them with this prayer.  You are faithful to reveal so much more than we ever knew we needed to pray for!  And as the context of Your Love continues to unravel before our eyes, we pray that our hearts are open to receiving Your grace and truth.  

Blessings of Home.  What a wonderfully named stamp bundle.  We are so blessed with the flowers surrounding our homes that rest their heads this time of year.  Time of restoration, and new breath in our lungs.  We're returning from the home of family members in Florida, we're feeling blessed to be home safe and protected.  We ask that our Father bless our home; our safe place, our contentment, that He graciously provided to use.  Help me to take care of the home I have and show love to the people who enter through my door.  Let me share the beauty of nature that surrounds our home--wildlike and floral displays that He create.  Allow me to capture the vivid colors and and textures and use them to share messages of celebration with others.

I'm so grateful today to share this card made with Blessing of Home Stamp Set and Flowers of Home Dies.  I've used Soft Succulent and Mint Macaron along with Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia representing the beauty of the colors around our home.  I used Vellum Layering Designs colored with Soft Succulent using Blending Brushes to add more shades of nature to my card.

To create today's card, I used a base card of Soft Succulent Cardstock.  Then a layer of Pale Papaya Cardstock.  Then a layer of Mint Macaron covered with a piece of vellum from the Vellum 12" X 12" Layering Designs paper pack.  The vellum was colored with Soft Succulent ink using Blending Brushes. 

 

For the image layers, I used a Very Vanilla, and stamped the floral image in Cinnamon Cider.  Then I colored the flowers with Pale Papaya Blends and Just Jade for the leaves.  Tip:  Because the Cinnamon Cider isn't permanent ink, it will "bleed".  I was careful to avoid coloring too much with the Pal Papaya alcohol-based Blends.  I colored one layer, allowed it to dry and then added a second layer, careful to avoid coloring the Cinnamon Cider lines as much as possible.  I also colored a couple of the smaller flowers using Fresh Freesia Blends.

Next, I stamped asentiment from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set in Soft Succulent, onto a Very Vanilla die cut I created using one of the shapes from the  Messages Die.  I added a Coastal Cabana Rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and a piece of 3/8" Open Weave Soft Succulent Ribbon. I also added a border of scallops in Fresh Freesia made with dies from the Penned Flowers Dies
