I was looking through some old cards in my stash and found a brightly colored butterfly card that I remember making a couple of years ago.  I decided to use the same layout and update it with colors and current butterfly dies.  I ended up with some very bright, striking cards that I can't wait to send.  I know they will put a smile on someone's face.   I used the Brilliant Wings Dies along with a sentiment from the All Squared Away Stamp Set.  I stamped a sentiment on a black and white Layering Circles die cuts  The selection of Granny Apple Green wit Basic Black was just what I needed to brighten my day.    A quick reminder:  Sale-a-Bration ends in just over a week from now.  So, if you want to pick a free selection to use for your fall and holiday projects, you'll want to place an offer for $50 or $100 (less tax and shipping) or more to pick your free Sale-Bration selection(s).

The basecard of for these cards isGranny Apply Green Cardstock.  Then a layer of Basic Black.  And then a layer of one of the prints from the Brights 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment.  Then I created a panel of Granny Apple Green and Basic White to use as my image layer.

Next, I selected one of the Butterflies from Brilliant Wings and cut the base from Granny Apply Green Cardstock and the detailed piece from Basic Black Cardstock.  I glued these two pieces together and then curved them slightly with my bone folder to give them a more 3-dimensional look.  I mounted them on Mini Dimensionals and added them to my image layer. 

To finished my card, I stamped a sentiment from the All Squared Away Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black ink onto a die-cut circle of Basic White, and mounted it onto a scalloped circle of Basic Black.  Both circles were die cut using the Layering Circles Dies.  Then I added a Matt Black Dot to the edge of the sentiment.
