Time to replenish my Thank You cards, again. Today I chose the Color & Contour Stamp Set and coordinating Scalloped Contours Dies for this quick, easy card using Polished Pink as my main color. I used coordinating In Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, and die cuts not only from the Scalloped Contours Dies, but additional dies cuts from the Layering Circles Dies, the Rectangle Stitched Dies, and the Encircled in beauty Dies. The sentiment is from the Elegantly Said Stamp Set, and the edge of the sentiment includes a Polished Pink jewel from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels assortment. A nice bright card offering a simple thank you to a friend.
I stamped the floral image from the Color & Contour Stamp Set in Old Olive ink. Then I used the flower fill stamps to color the flower heads. I wanted a lighter pink than the background colors so I stamped off before coloring the flower heads. I used an Old Olive Blends to color the stems and leaves, and then used the coordinating die from Scalloped Contours Dies to die cut the floral image. I popped it up on Dimensionals before adding it to my card front.
To highlight the sentiment, I die cut a border using the smallest die in the Encircled In Beauty Dies using Polished Pink Cardstock. Then, I cut a circle in Basic White using one of the Layering Circles Dies and mounted it on the detailed die cut after stamping the sentiment from Elegantly Said Stamp Set in Polished Pink ink. I added one of the Polished Pink Jewels from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels assortment to complete the card.
