Lazy Days with a cozy, summer porch setting using Stampin' Up! Lazy Days Stamp Set

What kind of a scene would you create using the new Stampin' Up! Lazy Days Stamp Set?  The Stampin' Up! Annual catalog has several ideas on page 19 and another one on page 58.  The Lazy Days Stamp Set and coordinating Dies make it fun to create different arrangements using the elements in this set.  I used a color them of Basic White, Crumb Cake and Boho Blue.  I added Granny Apple Green leaves and I used one of the Medium Tone Natural Tones Stampin' Blends  to color the pot.  The rocker and side table are Crumb Cake, and the glasses on the table are colored with Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Blends  I used a Blending Brush and Boho Blue to create a background on the porch scene.  I die cut a Basic White sentiment label using a die from the Something Fancy Dies and used one of the sentiments from the Lazy Days Stamp Set. You'll have fun expressing your creativity with the elements in this bundle.  

The basecard for today's card is Thick basic White Cardstock.  Then I used a Blending Brush and Boho Ink to create a Blue background for this porch scene.  I used the Lazy Days Dies to die cut from Basic White, the porch covering and post along with the porch railing.  I love the details created by these dies. 

To decorate the porch, I stamped the plant in this Stamp Set and hung it from the porch covering.  I colored it with Granny Apply Green and one of the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends.  Then I used the woodgrain stamp from the set, and stamped it several times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to create the porch floor.  Next, I stamped and die cut the rocking chair and side table.  These were also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then colored using Crumb Cake Blends.  There is a second rocking chair in this set of dies, which is perfect for creating a larger scene. 

To finish the card, I used one of the dies from the Something Fancy Dies to die cut a Basic White label, and stamped "It's always a good day..." from the Lazy Days Stamp Set.  Then inside, I stamped, "when we spend time together".  There are several sentiments than could be used on the inside or along with the sentiment I stamped on the sentiment label.  You'll enjoy selecting appropriate sentiments to meet your needs
