Daisies, Daisies and more Daisies create beautiful Monochromatic Cards

I made this collection of Daisy cards for a card swap I've been working on.  This card is a monochromatic card using the new Pale Papaya In Color Cardstock, and Basic White.  I used the Daisy Garden Stamp Set for the image layer background, the Daisy Lane Stamp set for the two Daisies, and the Forever Flourishing dies to create foliage behind the daisies.  I stamped the Daisy Garden image in Pale Papaya ink stamped off once before stamping it onto the Pale Papaya cardstock.  Add a few gems and a coordinating Pale Papaya ribbon and bow, and the card is finished.      

The basecard for this card is Pale Papaya Cardstock, one of the new In Colors this year.  Then, the next layer is Basic White.  Finally, an image layer of Pale Papaya Cardstock, which is stamped with the Daisy Garden Stamp Set.  I used Pale Papaya ink, and stamped off one before stampin the image on the Pale Papaya Paper as I wanted a very faint image behind the two Daisy flowers.  I love the way this image creates a beautiful background behind the flowers.

The large Daisy is stamped twice on Basic White Cardstock in Pale Papaya Ink and then punched out with the Daisy Punch.  Then the two daisies are offset and layered on top each other to create a fuller daisy image.  I then stamped the smaller Daisy from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set twice onto Pale Papaya Cardstock using Pale Papaya ink.  I used the Medium Daisy Punch to punch out the two Daisies, and like the larger daisy, I layered the two smaller daisies together to create a fuller daisy.   I added Pale Papaya Genial Gems to the centers of each Daisy.     

  

I die cut from Vellum 8-1/2 X 11 Cardstock some foliage using one of the dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies, and glued the stems behind the Daisies, but left the tops of the vellum loose to create more texture on the card.  Then I cut a piece of Basic White scrap at an angle on one end, and stamped a sentiment from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set on it using Pale Papaya Ink.  I added another Genial  Gem to the edge of the sentiment.  I also added a Pale Papaya open weave  bow to the card.  

This is another one of the new In Colors that never fails to brighten my day.  Pale Papaya is like a ray of sunshine.  It radiates warmth and happiness.  I can't believed how much of this new Pale Papaya I've used already.  I've had to order more to make sure I don't run out.   Saving money also puts me in a good mood.   Find  ways to save during the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog Last Chance sale going on now.  See below. Order from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.

Combine Daisy Garden with Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Daisy Punches for a fresh look at Daisies

My new Daisy Garden Stamp Set arrive late yesterday afternoon, and I couldn't wait to make a card with it.  I used it as a background for more daises using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and and two different size Daisy Punches.  Creating cards with Daises never gets old.  However, I wanted to try something a little different and decided to use a neutral palette rather than traditional daisy colors.  I used Sahara Sand  from the Neutrals 6" X 6" Designer Series paper, and paired it with one of the twines from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.  All images were stamped in Sahara Sand ink, and I added a few Vellum Cardstock florals using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  Each of the daisies was stamped twice and layered.  I added a few Gilded Gems in the center of my Daisies.  If you already have the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, you'll want to pick up Daisy Garden Stamp Set to add more options for using both set. 

The basecard for this card is Sahara Sand Cardstock.  Then a Basic White layer.  Next, I selected a Sahara Sand print from the Neutrals 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper, and stamped the image from the Daisy Garden Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink over the print.   I love the effect!

 

I stamped two of each size daisy, punched them with the coordinating Daisy Punches, and layered them to create a fuller Daisy.  They are popped up on Dimensionals before adding them to the card front.  I also die cut from Vellum Cardstock a few leaves to use behind the Daisies, using the Forever Flourishing Dies. They are very subtle against the stamped images    

I used the Crumb Cake Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack and wound it around the card 3 times before tying it in a multi-looped bow.  The sentiment is from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, and it is stamped in Sahara Sand ink onto a sentiment created using the Always Dies.  I used Gilded Gems as the flower centers on one card, and used some retired gems from a couple of catalogs ago, that I really like with these Daisy images. 

I know I'll be using the new Daisy Garden Stamp Set heavy.  If you have the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and coordinating punches, you'll want to add Daisy Garden Stamp Set to your shopping list to help you get more use out of your existing sets.  I love when Stampin' Up! designers give us new stamps that work with our existing stamps.
