Stampin' Up! Band Together Stamp Set
I'm not sure why it took me so long to use the Band Together Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! I ordered the set and then it just sat . . . Until today!. I'm so please with this card. It did take some time to color the flowers, and instead of stamping the flower onto the Whisper White background, I cut out the entire flower and then re-positioned the tallest flower slightly to get it all on the card. I used the Purple Posy Light and Dark Blends to color the flower. You can find this set on page 121 in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. While Stampin' Up! is still working with the vendor on quality issues with the Purple Posy stamp pad, using the Light and Dark Purple Posy Blends Markers with the Purple Posy cardstock and embellishments is a great alternative until the Purple Posy stamp pad is orderable.
The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White. Then I added a layer of Purple Posy cardstock. Then I dry embossed another layer of Whisper White with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. Scripty is one of the new-style 3D embossing folders and you will need to use the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate, item 149658 (USD$10.00) when embossing with this folder. This plate is new, and you won't find it in the catalog, but you will find in in the online store. This plate is a "must have" if you plan to order any of the new-style 3D Embossing folder in this year's annual catalog.
I stamped the large flower from the Band Together Stamp Set onto Whisper White cardstock in tuxedo Black Memento ink. I colored the stems with Light and Dark Old Olive Blends alcohol-based Markers, and I colored the flowers in Light and Dark Blends Markers. Then I cut out the flower and added it to my card front, mounting the full flower on Dimensionals.
For my sentiment layer, I first used the coordinating Detailed Bands Dies to die cut a banner base out of Silver Foil Sheets. Then I used another die in the Detailed Bands Dies set to die cut the Whisper White oval. The sentiment is from the Band Together Stamp Set, and I stamped it in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. i selected 3 different sizes of 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots to accent the card.
