Stampin' Up! Feels Like Frost Suite
My inspiration for today's card comes from page 41 of the Holiday Catalog. It uses the Feels Like Frost 6 X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Frosted Frames Dies and the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set. These items are all part of the Feels Like Frost Suite from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. The catalog will be online on September 4, 2019, ready for online purchases from my Stampin' Up! store. My customers already have their copies of the Holiday Catalog. You can get a copy from your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If you don't have a Demonstrator, I would love to be your Demonstrator, and I'll send you a copy of the Holiday catalog. Contact me.
The base card for this card is Thick Whisper White. Then a layer Purple Posy. Then a print from the Feels Like Frost 6 X 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Then, I die cut a stitched shape out of Vellum Cardstock using one of the Frosted Frames Dies. I found that I needed to add a shim to my Big Shot sandwich in order to ensure that this die cut the thinner Vellum Cardstock properly.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I think I'll also try a version with Night of Navy ink next time I make this card. I think it will blend better with the beautiful background. The Frosted Foliage Stamp Set and Frosted Frames Dies can be purchased as a Bundle at a 10% savings over purchasing each separately. I selected the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim and tied it along the side of the sentiment in order to hide the glue dots I used to hold the sentiment on the card. I only secured the left side of the sentiment.
